Audio, anyone?
Sunday, March 27th, 2005So I dialed the AudioBlogger.Com number, entered my info and created a test audio-entry. That was about forty-five minutes ago. I thought it would just pop up as a new entry here, but perhaps I’m wrong. Or perhaps I just haven’t waited long enough. I thought that perhaps I needed to create an entry (such as this one) that would link to the audio-entry, but alas, I see no such option as I type this.
Hrmph.
I’ve read all the FAQ’s, I’ve googled to see how other people are doing this. It appears that my setup is correct, and that it should just show up here. Maybe I just need to be a little more patient.
And the race is on…
Sunday, March 27th, 2005After nearly a year-length hiatus, I have decided to begin blogging again. At this point all previous posts will remain offline so that I can enjoy a clean start. So what was the impetus behind my blog-revival? A call from a friend who raised an interesting question: What do you know about audio bloggin? Well, nothing. Nothing at all. Except that I knew that people were doing it. (audioblogging, that is)
“Wouldn’t it be great to just record a voice message and have it entered as a post on your blog?”, he mused.
Hmmm… Curious concept. A quick visit to Blogger.Com to set up this blog and then a jaunt over to AudioBlogger.Com to create a login for the audio setup, and easy as pie, we have an audio blog!
Or do we?
Is it really that simple? Just call the number, enter my pin and record. Afterwards, the post miraculously appears on the blog! If it works, this could be the start of something really interesting.
So, with no further ado, let’s end this post and create an audio entry! (I wonder how long it will take for the audio entry to show up here…)
